Getting There
Transportation
-
Palm Beach International Airport (PBI): Out of town guests will find convenience in flying to PBI. This is the closest major airport to the wedding and venue. Flying into PBI offers views of our wonderful beaches and pristine golf courses (should you be lucky enough to get a window seat!)
-
Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (FLL): For our frugal fliers, all major carriers also offer flights to Florida's 3rd busiest airport. This airport offers the cheapest flights to the area. FLL is a brisk 50 min drive from the venue. Flying into this airport will afford wonderful views of I-95 travelling north!
-
North Palm Beach County General Aviation Airport (F45): The closest airport to the wedding, guests who prefer to travel the way David does can fly their airplane to North County. After landing, look for N102LS sitting proudly on the ramp as you taxi to the FBO, Signature Flight Support.
Accommodation
South Florida is home to some of the finest hotels in the nation. From the Breakers, to PGA National Resort and Spa, you can stay at the same places the celebrities do!
We recommend* the following hotels near the wedding:
-
Hampton Inn Palm Beach Gardens (4001 RCA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410)
We have a group rate at this hotel - Select special rates then enter the code "VDW" -
Best Western Plus Palm Beach Gardens (11360 US-1, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33408)
-
Hampton Inn Jupiter/Juno Beach (13801 US-1, Juno Beach, FL 33408)
*We've never actually stayed at any of these hotels ourselves, so good luck. They seem nice enough on the outside when we drive past though!

Our Story
We met during a balmy Florida winter at our Young Adult group at St. Patrick. Meagan took the opportunity to wear her Maryland scarves and matching shoes in the sub 70 deg temperature. Noticing the cute, quiet girl sitting on the other side of the room, David waited until the beginning of summer to ask her out -- on a COFFEE date. With a knee-jerk reaction, Meagan replied "no thank you, I hate that." Ever persistent, and desperate to bail water out of a sinking ship, David offered a compromise of ice cream. Two cones turned into camping trips, bike rides, kayaking, and lots of tea drinking. On one of those camping trips to Yosemite National Park, David got down on one knee, and Meagan said "YES!", promptly followed with "can we go to ALASKA?!"
Registry
We like to spend time outside, read books, drink tea, and cook meat! We've registered at places to help us in those endeavors.
